Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
We love to hear crying babies. They are our future, but some parents find this frustrating and embarrassing. That is why we have a cry room with large windows, so you can participate in the service while your young child sleeps or plays. A volume control located near the upper right side of the door varies the volume from the speaker in the ceiling. Feel free to adjust the volume to any level that pleases you.
We have a small table and chair for the energetic toddler who may prefer to color than listen to the sermon. God will understand. There is also plenty of room for the toddler to stretch his or her legs. If your child prefers the floor, that is okay too; we have a soft rug.
Some of the smallest infants may prefer to sleep through the sermon. We hope they outgrow that as they become adults. Again, our God is very understanding and so are we. We have provided a small crib for that little tyke. You should find a card in the crib that says, “Clean.” If you use the crib, please give the card to an usher, and we will ensure that it is “Covid” clean for the following Sunday.
Sometimes an infant will refuse to sleep in a crib and prefer the arms of a parent. We got you covered. We have a rocking chair that is (almost) guaranteed to usher in the Sandman and close the eyes of the most reluctant infant.
