Church Scholarship

  
College is expensive. In some cases the cost of college is prohibitive and prevents talented students from obtaining an education. To ease this burden, Prince of Peace offers a scholarship every year. The value of the scholarship varies from year to year, but is usually in the $500 to $1,000 range. The scholarship committee begins accepting applications February through April. Interviews begin in May with the presentation of the award sometime in June. To be eligible for the scholarship, it is expected that the applicant is active in the church and has completed confirmation. The scholarship can be used for college or a recognized trade school.
